Bonduelle Food Service is the world leader of vegetables developed for the
catering market. This manufacturer produces all of the 4 vegetable presentations
(tinned, frozen, ready-to-use salad, fresh salads). On this fast-moving market,
Bonduelle Food Service is constantly changing, adapting and developing offers
which are always more competitive and creative in order to answer to these diners
last requests. Two ranges illustrate Bonduelle Food Service's outlook: the fresh
packs and the Minute range.
Bonduelle Food service fresh pack. This appertized packaging greatly reduces the amount of empty wrapping. With this "service" solution par excellence, the preservation of vegetables is optimal without forgetting a safe, easy and quick opening. The fresh pack has caused quite a sensation since it was introduced onto the market in January 2003.
The Frozen Minute Range. "Minute" vegetables benefit from the goodness of steamed cooking. They heat-up rapidly to the right temperature just before being served. The Minute vegetable is an organoleptic, visual and nutritional guarantee of quality combined with saving time (no cooking) and savings on energy and ecudates.
Vegetable Day was proposed during Sirha in 2005, and since, Vegetable Day is now implemented in 1500 foodservice institutions. Each Tuesday, vegetables are put in first place which therefore helps, along with the Bonduelle Food Service, to make people's alimentary food habits change. The Louis Bonduelle Foundation, which is the initiator of this operation, finances all the necessary tools and implements an efficient and attractive setting with merchandising products, original recipes, events and a Website.
